Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of May 29, 2023 to June 4, 2023.
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection for Switch was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 38,656 retail sales.
It was followed by Street Fighter 6, which opened at 21,192 sales on PlayStation 5 and 12,078 sales on PlayStation 4 for a launch week total of 33,270 retail copies sold.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Switch remained the top selling title overall, moving an additional 78,602 retail copies.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 88,349 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 35,276 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,086 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 322 units.
