Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of June 5, 2023 to June 11, 2023.
Diablo IV was the highest selling new release of the week, moving 24,375 copies on PlayStation 5, 8,940 copies on PlayStation 4, and 8,524 copies on Xbox Series X for an opening week total of 41,839 retail copies sold.
It should be noted that there is no physical edition of Diablo IV for Xbox Series X in Japan, and the game’s Xbox Series X sales account for the Xbox Series X hardware bundle that released the same week.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Switch remained the top selling title overall, moving an additional 46,644 retail copies.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 104,413 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 43,609 units, the Xbox Series family sold 9,116 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,852 units.
