Dead Cells has sold more than 10 million copies in the six years since its initial Early Access launch on May 10, 2017, as well as announced that further updates are planned through 2025, developers Motion Twin and Evil Empire announced.

The roguelike Metroidvania game has since launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, iOS via the App Store, and Android via Google Play. A PlayStation 5 version is due out on August 11.
