Wrath of the Lich King Classic is preparing for a showdown between heroes and the Lich King himself. The Fall of the Lich King update is live in World of Warcraft Classic , with three new dungeons, a new Titan Rune dungeon, quest updates, and the opening of Icecrown Citadel tomorrow.
Get ready to enter The Frozen Halls as The Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and the Halls of Reflection all arrive for challengers. Separate, but connected five-player dungeons that will see you help Jaina Proudmoore or Sylvanas Windrunner help defeat the Lich King’s minions and halt some of their efforts before the eventualfinal confrontation with the Lich King himself.

There are 12 bosses in five different wings for the raid, with many challenges before you even get to The Frozen Throne. That is, if you don’t fall before then. If you succeed, you’ll face The Lich King himself with his blade, Frostmourne. When the raid opens, there won't be any gating or restrictions. All wings will be unlocked.
This update also adds the Random Dungeon Finder, so you can now queue for individual dungeons in Normal, Heroic, Defense Protocol Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. The dungeon finder is finally here in Classic, so things should move a little more swiftly. Defense Protocol Gamma is the new difficulty of Titan Rune dungeon available, with creatures dealing extra damage and having increased health. Bosses will drop a special currency, Defiler’s Scourgestone, which you can trade for rewards.
The Shadowmourne Legendary quest is also here, with some adjustments to make it more accessible. Changes include Shadowfrost Shards dropping, the end boss
