Euphoria star Maude Apatow reveals that she ripped out one of her teeth for a role back when she was a kid. The HBO show, which was created by Sam Levinson and is based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name, originally premiered on HBO on June 19, 2019. Now, with Euphoria season 2 having premiered earlier this year, the show has become pop culture's newest hit teen series. Not only has the show thrived despite its COVID-related delay between seasons, but it has also grown beyond the already wild popularity of season 1. Indeed, Twitter recently cited Euphoriaas the most-tweeted-about show of the decade.
One of the key players in Euphoria season 2 is Lexi, played by Maude Apatow, who is the daughter of actress Leslie Mann and director Judd Apatow. One of the pivotal sequences of season 2 is the depiction of Lexi's play (titled «Our Life»), which she stages in the school auditorium. The play is an autobiographical journey that incites a series of flashbacks throughout the episode, deepening Lexi's character and strengthening her obvious bond with Zendaya's character Rue.
