Actor Javon Walton teases the future of his character, Ashtray, in the upcoming third season of HBO's hit drama,Euphoria. Walton's character, Ashtray, has proven himself to be an impulsive protector, fiercely loyal to his adopted brother Fezco- who have both been selling drugs since they were kids in order to survive.
In Euphoria season 2, fans see Ashtray and Fezco still having to deal with the consequences of Ashtray killing the top drug dealer, Mouse. As a result, in the Euphoria season 2 finale, Mouse’s previous partner, Custer, tries to set up Fezco in order to make sure he takes the fall for the murder. Ashtray of course reacts without thinking or barely blinking, stabbing Custer directly in the throat, right before a terrifying police raid. Ashtray then locks himself in the bathroom, with a whole collection of machine guns. As Ashtray fires at the police, he accidentally ends up wounding Fezco and is thus presumed to be killed off-camera.

However, despite Ashtray's supposed death, Walton is teasing fans now with the possibility that all hope may not be lost. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Walton clarifies the fate of Ashtray for the upcoming Euphoria season 3. He stated, “Well you see him get arrested, so I’m sure he is going to be in the back of a cop car. And with Ashtray, we’re not 100 percent if he’s dead, because you saw absolutely no blood right? And you didn’t see him fall, you did hear the bullet, but you didn’t see him get shot. So, there’s little things that could potentially bring him back for another season.”
