There is considerable excitement surrounding the imminent release of TT Games' new title, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Featuring an almost total revamp of how a LEGO game plays and functions, as well as content from all three mainline Star Wars movie trilogies, the fanbase has got a lot to look forward to, but it gets better.
Namely, it would seem that physical copies of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga may have been shipped out early, with players getting them well ahead of the game's April 5th release date. Further, the lucky owner has gone on to explain that this isn't even the first time this has happened, meaning that gamers from a particular region may want to start preordering games once more.

Reddit user Frisby123 recently posted that they received their PlayStation 5 copy of LEGO Skywalker Saga in the mail a few days ahead of its actual release date. They were ordering the game via Amazon UK, which Frisby123 claims did something similar with their physical copy of Dying Light 2, as well. Curiously, this isn't the first leak this game's had, as the full list of playable Skywalker Saga characters got leaked online in late March.
After six years' worth of development time and allegations of excessive crunch while making The LEGO Skywalker Saga, it's not particularly strange to see TT Games' fans excited to finally be able to play a new LEGO game. Especially since this is the first time in years that there are substantial changes being made to a LEGO game's core gameplay loop, content progression, and feature set.
