The Shadowlands Hall of Fame title awarded for finishing Sepulcher of the First Ones has been updated yet again, this time to Famed Slayer of the Banished One. Originally, the title awarded was the awkwardly worded Famed Bane of Zovaal the Jailer, and was updated a few weeks ago to Famed Slayer of Zovaal the Jailer, before undergoing yet-another change to Famed Slayer of the Jailer. It is somewhat telling that there's a bit of an identity crises going on with the Jailer, as he was meant to be this mysterious larger than life villain pulling the strings, but didn't really make his presence felt enough to have a lasting impression on players. Hence, the revelation that the Jailer was actually the the eternal one Zovaal, original arbiter of the Shadowlands and brother to the rest of the Pantheon of Death fell somewhat flat. Since then, there's been continual back and forth as to whether he should be called Zovaal, the Jailer, or some amalgamation, such as The Jailer Zovaal or Zovaal the Jailer. But with the latest update, it seems Blizzard has decided to reference the lore of the Eternal Ones, calling the Jailer the «Banished One» for his treachery against the other covenant leaders.
