Although Chris initially aligned himself with Miesha Tate and Todrick, he grew tired of their domination of the game. Chris even considered backdooring Todrick when he was the Head of Household, but then decided against it. When Miesha won the next HOH competition, Chris decided to shift his allegiance to the other side of the house when Carson Kressley and Cynthia Bailey were nominated by Miesha for eviction. When his final partner, Shanna Moakler, won the Power of Veto competition, Chris recognized that they now had the opportunity to shift the power in the house. They decided to defy Miesha's plan to evict Carson by saving him with the veto. However, this plan had one flaw: Miesha then put Chris on the chopping block in Carson's place because he betrayed her, and Chris essentially backdoored himself.
Before the eviction, Todrick had become convinced that he was Chris' next target. He played a huge role in the plan to evict Chris.
