Celebrity Big Brother's first house guest to be ejected was Teddi Mellencamp and she was quick to address just how difficult it was to be away from her friends, family and three children. Teddi, who was fired fromThe Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills a couple seasons ago, made her return to reality television with a foray into the celebrity version of the long-running Big Brother franchise. She was one of two Bravo housewives to be included in the season — the other being former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Cynthia Bailey.
The initial competition for Head of Household had the celebs engage in a battle of strength as they hung from stirrup-ed contraptions while having various substances (aka slime) hurled at them. As the competitors dropped like flies, four, including Teddi, remained suspended and started talking deals. Singer Todrick Hall extracted an agreement with mixed martial artist Meisha Tate (who appeared unflappable during the challenge) before he plunged from the apparatus. Teddi attempted to follow suit, but Meisha declined, leaving her vulnerable as she crashed to the padded surface below. With the writing apparently on the wall, Teddi was the first to be thrown out.

After her exit, Teddi reported to People just how tough her stint on the show had been for her. She spent 10 days in the house but a total of 18 days away from her family, which includes three young children. Though Teddi soothed herself with the knowledge that her children were safe with their father and grandmother, she still had a rough time of it emotionally saying, "Anytime somebody wanted to talk about the kids, I could only talk about them a little amount
