There are tons of weapons for players to unlock, purchase, and find in Elden Ring. Many of the weapons that players will come across are suited for certain play styles and aesthetics, but there are a handful that are outright legendary, elevating the Tarnished to new heights of greatness thanks to their immense power. Elden Ring: Coded Sword Location (Unblockable Blade)
A lot of the legendary weapons found in Elden Ring are locked behind challenging content or imposing bosses but there are a few powerful items that Tarnished can stumble upon when exploring the expansive open world of the Lands Between. A great example is the Bolt of Gransax, a legendary spear that's fairly easy to reach as long as players have unlocked the correct area. Here's how to find it.
Unfortunately, the Bolt of Gransax can't be snagged in the early game as it's hidden deep within the hard-as-nails Leyndell, Royal Capital. Just getting to the capital itself is a bit of a chore as players will have to have successfully pieced together the Dectus Medallion and unlocked the Altus Plateau. Alternatively, players can make their way through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice and take on Magma Wyrm Makar. Both paths are long and arduous, and players will then need to take on another imposing boss to make it within the city walls. Once they've arrived in Leyndell, Royal Capital, they'll need to make their way through the expansive city until they reach a large winding tree branch and travel up it until they're met by a ghostly apparition of Godfrey, the first Elden Lord. Once players defeat the golden apparition, they'll unlock the Edtree Sanctuary
