Elden Ring's Notes Can Show How to Easily Defeat the Land Squirts
Elden Ring's tricky Land Squirt enemies can be defeated easily with the help of notes found in the game. The hugely successful new title by FromSoftware has been turning heads for weeks and players are still learning about things they can do. While most Elden Ring players won't pay much attention to small details, the ones that do will discover that there is far more to see and do than meets the eye.
Elden Ring is filled with terrifying enemies big and small and many can prove troublesome for less experienced players. Luckily, even though FromSoftware made a truly challenging game, it was kind enough to leave a few hints and tips in-game to guide players through — although these hints can be fairly cryptic. Notes can be found in many different places in The Lands Between and many can be purchased for a small price from the merchants that inhabit the realm.

A video posted on YouTube by user VaatiVidya shows players how to utilize the useful notes provided in Elden Ring. An enemy that many players have found annoying is the Land Squirt, the strange pods that spew poison gas into the air around them. While they can't chase or shoot players they are usually situated in the middle of a path that players will need to cross. VaatiVidya suggests using poison to defeat these poison-filled enemies. Although it seems counter-intuitive, the Land Squirts are indeed vulnerable to the one weapon they use and the result is quite explosive. After poisoning one of them, they will explode in a large, toxic cloud which will then poison others around it leading to a gassy chain reaction that can clear the path ahead, as VaatiVidya demonstrates in the video.
