An Elden Ring player has shared a unique method of avoiding damage from the Hero's Grave chariots. The post from this gamer is just one of many of its type, as the world of Elden Ring is filled with secrets, small details, and gameplay intricacies to discover.
Elden Ring has perhaps more side content than any other FromSoftware game. As players make their way through The Lands Between, they will likely come across a number of dungeons posing varying levels of challenge depending on the region and relative power level of the player character. For many players, the Hero's Graves are some of the most frustrating parts of not just the game's many dungeons, but Elden Ring as a whole. While these locations function in a similar way as other dungeons in their latter halves, they begin by forcing players to run down a series of ramps while avoiding a mechanical chariot. These chariots will almost always kill the player in a single hit, and they are notoriously difficult to avoid, as no matter how much a player exercises Elden Ring's rolling mechanic, it is impossible to dodge these chariots without being in designated safe zones.

Players might just have another option when facing these infamous obstacles, though. A Twitter user going by the handle Zela shared a video of them in one of the Hero's Graves, running down one of the ramps as the chariot rapidly approaches up the incline. In most scenarios, this would mean certain death for the player, but Zela manages to jump just at the right moment and avoid taking damage altogether, aided by the extra verticality granted by the ramp.
