Emma Frost & Cyclops Cosplay Shows Off X-Men's Astonishing Powers
In the world of the X-Men, Emma Frost and Cyclops are two of the most powerful and important mutants on Krakoa. In a new cosplay, the on-again, off-again romantic interests are given an astonishing look that shows off both of their abilities. In a joint cosplay featuring an incredible image from @PatLoika and @judahtalion, Emma Frost and Cyclops strike a powerful pose recreating a classic Marvel Comics cover from Astonishing X-Men.
Emma Frost, first debuting in The Uncanny X-Men #128 by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, began her earliest adventures as an enemy of the X-Men and the White Queen of the Hellfire Club. However, in the New X-Men by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, the telepath and diamond shapeshifter joined the superteam where she had an affair with Cyclops. Frost would become an important voice on the X-Men while being part of a love triangle with Cyclops and Jean Grey. On Krakoa, she is one of the founding members of the Quiet Council of Krakoa — and was the main force behind the Hellfire Gala, a celebration of mutantdom with non-mutants visiting paradise in an evening featuring high-fashion and drama.

On his Instagram account, @patlokika shared his X-Men collaboration with @judahtalion, which homages the cover for Astonishing X-Men #2 by John Cassaday. Starring cosplayers @odfel as Emma Frost and @twoacross106 as Cyclops, the image recreates the pose from the X-Men cover and features a new look at their powers.
