Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on May 23 in Japan and September 26 worldwide, D3 Publisher and developer Yuke’s announced.
The PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions will cost $49.99 / €49.99 /£39.99 / 6,980 yen for the standard edition and $74.99 / €74.99 / £64.99 / 9,980 yen for the Deluxe Edition. Pre-orders are available now via PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive a 10 percent discount and several additional characters as a bonus.
The Switch version will cost $39.99 / €39.99 / £29.99 / 5,980 yen for the standard edition and $64.99 / €64.99 / £54.99 / 8,980 yen for the Deluxe Edition. Pre-orders will open at a later date.
Gematsu has reached out to D3 Publisher regarding the $10 / €10 / £10 / 1,000 yen price difference between the PlayStation and Switch versions, but the company did not respond before press time.
