EA Sports WRC Outlines Modes and Features in Latest Video | Push Square

EA Sports and Codemasters have released another video on the upcoming EA Sports WRC, the developer's first officially licensed rally racer. This time, there's a focus on all the game's modes and features, and it's honestly looking very robust.

First off is the career mode, where you can start your rally journey from any of the three classes. You can start with Junior WRC and work your way up, or if you're an experienced player, hop into the Rally1 cars in the flagship championship. Using a budget supplied by a benefactor, you'll manage your team, buy new cars, and more as you compete in the events on the calendar.

The builder mode is up next, which will let you create your own modern-era rally car. Pick a class, then choose everything about your vehicle, selecting where the engine sits, which internal parts to use, the shape of the chassis, and even the interior. Because your custom car adheres to the regulations of whatever class you pick, you'll be able to use it to compete against official cars, which is pretty cool.

Moments is a regularly updated mode that provides you with unique events that recreate real-life, er, moments from WRC's history. Though new ones will be added all the time, they don't go away, meaning you can play them at your leisure.

Elsewhere, there's a full rally school mode to teach you how to drive on different surfaces, online multiplayer modes (asynchronous and live), time trials, custom championships, and more. It seems to be pretty much the whole package, but obviously we'll need to play it for ourselves to see if it lives up to Codemasters' previous rally sims.
