EA's group general manager Samantha Ryan has left the company.
That's according to VentureBeat, which reports that she has made her departure to 'change things up'. Previously, she headed up EA's studios that weren't developing shooting, sports or racing titles, such as BioWare, Maxis and Full Circle.
EA SVP and head of the company's Positive Play initiative, Rachel Franklin, will now be overseeing the Sims maker Maxis and Full Circle, which handles the Skate brand.
Meanwhile, the heads at BioWare, Cliffhanger, Motive, Cliffhanger and BioWare will be reporting to newly-appointed EA Entertainment president, Laura Miele. Respawn chief Vince Zampella will continue to look after the Battlefield, Apex Legends and Star Wars brands and as such will be reporting into Miele.
Ryan joined EA back in 2015 as senior vice president and group GM. Previously she had worked at Monolith Productions as its president, as well as Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment as SVP of production and development.
Her departure comes in the wake of a sizeable restructure at EA, which saw Miele promoted to head up the newly-created EA Entertainment division, alongside the company's tech and central development arms. Meanwhile, Cam Weber was promoted to the boss of EA Sports.
