The upcoming Season 2 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers, starting February 16, is set to introduce one of the franchise's most iconic characters to the game as a Raider. The release of the asymmetrical Dragon Ball Z game late last year was a stark contrast to the franchise's typical fanfare of high-powered action and fighting games. Rather than putting players in charge of the main heroes, the game tasks a team of seven ordinary people with surviving against powerful villains like Cell and Frieza. Now, the newest update features one of Dragon Ball's most beloved characters.
While the asymmetrical multiplayer game sets itself apart from other Dragon Ball Z games, Dragon Ball: The Breakers has been met with largely mixed reception since its launch. Fans have been critical of the game's small roster with many of the franchise's most iconic characters not included. Matchmaking was also a major issue early in the game's life with frequent connection errors and issues with cross-platform play. Now, the game's roster is set to grow with multiple familiar faces joining the game including the fearsome Prince of Saiyans, Vegeta.
