If you were hoping for a look at Dragon Age: Dreadwolf at The Game Awards in a few days then you are going to be a bit sad, Bioware have announced that a full reveal of the game will now occur in the Summer of 2024. That’s four years after they officially acknowledged they were working on a new Dragon Age game.

Dragon Age Dreadwolf takes place in a world where the legend of Solas has grown, with different people having different opinions of him. To some he is an elven god while to others an individual that betrayed people who trusted him. Some see him as someone who is there to save others, but at a great cost.
Who is Solas? Well last year on this very day, which is Dragon Age Day, Bioware released a cinematic explaining the character. The cinematic, narrated by Varric, gives us a brief history and reveals that in a long ago age Solus was the Dreadwolf, the ancient elven god of lies or rebel facing tyranny, depending on the version you believe. Solus imprisoned the elven gods long ago, but now he wants to destroy the world. Nice chap.
A new short story called As We Fly by Lukas Kristjanson was also released. This story is set in Treviso, which is under occupation by Butcher Daathrata and his soldiers. Where there is occupation there is rebellion, and in this short story two of those characters that are taking part in this rebellion are Neri de Acutis and Noa de Acutis, two siblings who are also Antivan Crows, a major political force in Antiva and a guild of assassins. It is an interesting read and gives us a bit more insight in to what to expect
