Robert Reynolds aka Sentry will play a crucial role in the narrative of Thunderbolts, serving as its main villain. So, with Steven Yeun dropping out of the project, it’s likely that Marvel will find a new actor to portray the character instead of leaving him behind.
After all, Sentry is extremely powerful in the comics and would prove to be a worthy opponent for the Thunderbolts. Furthermore, there have already been rumors of Steven Yeun trying his Sentry suit. So, the film is likely too far along in its development for the character to be dropped.
