Today is apparently Dragon Age Day, and BioWare is celebrating by confirming you'll need to wait until Summer 2024 for the proper reveal of its upcoming RPG Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The reveal window was confirmed in a new video named Thedas Calls, which closes with: «Full reveal summer 2024.»
First announced all the way back at The Game Awards 2018, it's been a very, very long road to release for the RPG that's rumoured to be inspired by God of War. «Enter Thedas, a vibrant land of rugged wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities – steeped in savage combat and secret magics,» the YouTube description teases. «Now, its fate teeters on a knife's edge.» Obviously, you shouldn't expect the game to turn up at The Game Awards later this week anymore.
Given the summer 2024 timing, it's possible Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could be fully revealed during a June showcase made to replace E3. A PS5 launch next year is still speculated to be possible, but given its lengthy development times, it slipping into 2025 wouldn't be much of a surprise. What do you make of this news?
