Starlight (Erin Moriarty) is now in dangerous territory after making an enemy of Homelander (Antony Starr) in The Boys season 3, but does Homelander kill Starlight in the comics? Prime Video's adaptation of Garth Ennis' superhero comic has come with plenty of changes, but The Boys still primarily focuses on the same characters and tells a similar overall story. The Boys season 3 has even brought the show closer to the source material than ever before by having Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) gain superpowers.
Billy and Hughie's powers give them the strength to take matters into their own hands, which means they are not operating as smoothly when allied with Starlight. The new co-captain of The Seven wants to eliminate Homelander due to his growing instability, but she also wants to do it the right way. This has meant Starlight is not in favor of helping Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) kill his old teammates in exchange for him taking out Homelander. Unsurprisingly, Starlight's frustrations continued in The Boys season 3, episode 6.

The show might be most focused on Billy Butcher and Homelander's rivalry, or even the new one forming around Soldier Boy and Homelander, but Starlight is also sure to play a central role in however the story progresses. She has had plenty of interactions with The Seven's powerful leader in the past, as she's even played the part of his fake public girlfriend in season 3.
