It appears Vought International will not be taking Annie January's accusations lying down. After the supe protagonist formerly known as Starlight from The Boys revealed some of Vought's very worst secrets on top of announcing that she was quitting the Seven, Vought gave their own spin on the story to discredit her allegations.
Among January's allegations in The Boys, she revealed the supes don't really care about people as much as they care about their public image. She also revealed Homelander is the worst of them, that previous Vought icon Soldier Boy is alive, and that Vought would try to make their own spin on all the chaos currently going down. In a recent press release, Vought gave their own version of events, discrediting January's allegations while urging the public to continue their faith in them as a company.

In their press release, Vought said, «The recent accusations made by Annie January, codename Starlight, on a recent social media live stream in now ay reflect Vought International as a whole.» Vought later added that Starlight's actions were caused by a bad breakup with Homelander. «January is a glory hound who became hysterical with rage after Homelander ended their relationship. Sadly her crazed jealousy has boiled over into insurrectionist territory and has made a reconciliation impossible. We ultimately regret making January a member of the Seven.» Strangely enough, they don't acknowledge what January said about Soldier Boy's existence, fueling speculation that Homelander afraid of him.
The real question is, did Homelander really write this? Homelander ran away following his fight with Soldier Boy, Bill Butcher, and Hughie Campbell, so who knows if
