Vought International's Homelander has issued a dramatic statement regarding Starlight following her actions in The Boys' «Herogasm» episode. Erin Moriarty plays Annie January/Starlight in the Prime Video series The Boys, based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The massively popular show, now in season 3, also stars Antony Starr as Homelander, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, and a host of recurring cast members that bring the dark and raunchy world of The Supes to life.
The Boys season 3, episode 6 «Herogasm» episode saw Butcher and Hughie teaming up with Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy in an effort to help him locate and kill his old teammates. In return, they want Soldier Boy to kill Homelander, seeing as he may be the only one powerful enough to do it. Starlight, trying her best to out-manoeuvre Homelander, who now controls Vought International, is stuck between her duty as a superhero and protecting the ones she loves. It all collides at Herogasm, an annual event between The Supes, which ends in a bloody showdown that leaves a heavy body count. As a result, Starlight decides to quit The Seven, broadcasting her resignation on social media to millions of followers.

The Boys' «Herogasm» episode ends after Starlight's message is sent to her followers, leaving things on a cliffhanger. Vought International has now issued a statement (very much in Homelander's voice) addressing the situation.
