Warning: SPOILERS lie ahead for The Boys.
Though a major aspect of her character, The Boys star Claudia Doumit didn't know she was auditioning to play a supe in the Prime Video series. Doumit is part of the ensemble roster of the superhero TV series that also includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McEligott, Chace Crawford and Jensen Ackles. The Boys adapts Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's graphic novels of the same name, in which superheroes exist and use their powers for corrupt purposes and the group of titular vigilantes seek to put them in check and expose them for who they really are.
Doumit joined The Boys season 2 as Victoria «Vic» Neuman, a gender-flipped version of the character from the comics who is working as a congresswoman dedicated to bringing accountability to Vought. Initially appearing as a potential ally to Butcher and the Boys, it would eventually be revealed by the end of the season that Neuman was secretly a supe with telekinetic powers that allowed her to blow up a person's head. Neuman's relationship with the group became further complicated in The Boys season 3 as Hughie began working for her and her secret began to come to light, though the star behind the character didn't know entirely what she was getting into when auditioning for the part.
