Disney Dreamlight Valley Reveals Expansion Pass Roadmap
Disney Dreamlight Valley has unveiled the A Rift in Time expansion pass roadmap, revealing Act 2 for the spring and Act 3 for the summer. A Rift in Time marks Disney Dreamlight Valley's first paid expansion and was released on December 23. Players eager to experience everything the season pass has to offer can purchase the base game plus the expansion pass together or opt for the expansion pass separately at a later time.
Gameloft launched Disney Dreamlight Valley in early access in 2022 for all major platforms, with a full release in December 2023. The game is a life simulation adventure packed with Disney and Pixar characters. Players take on the role of a created character and help Merlin remove the Night Thorns that have enshrouded the entire Dreamlight Valley. These Night Thorns have stolen the memories of the valley's residents, who are iconic Disney characters. As a live service game, Disney Dreamlight Valley is constantly updating with free content and paid expansion passes.
The first expansion pass for Disney Dreamlight Valley is A Rift in Time, whose remaining Acts were officially unveiled in its roadmap. Act 2 will introduce The Spark of Imagination during the spring of 2024 and lead players to the Ancient's Landing, where they will meet a lucky villager. Act 3 will implement Treasures of Time in the summer of the same year, where players will face Jafar for the last time to fix the rift in time. A Rift In Time was released in December 2023 and added Eternity Isle, a new magical area, along with the much-requested multiplayer mode. The first expansion pass also added numerous new content, such as new biomes, critters, resources, furniture, and even Disney characters.
