Diablo Immortal Improves Features and Events, and Preps For Season 19 Battle Pass, Spawn of Destruction
Diablo Immortal is getting ready for its Season 19 Battle Pass, Spawn of Destruction. This week’s update also adds new Legendary items, several feature improvements, and returning events.
The update will be live across all regions on October 25th, And there are 42 new legendary items that can be obtained in Inferno difficulty to and above for all classes. Much of the update focuses on feature tweaks, based on feedback and player experience. Among them are changes to how Battlegrounds rewards are given out. Instead of backloading everything to the end of a season, you’ll get more rewards when you rank up, including Reforge Stones every time until you reach Legendary.
Also coming are changes to Immortal Weekly rewards, with improved chances to get gear drops from the vault, with better skew towards a proportionate class distribution. Two Helliquary bosses also have their invulnerability phases removed. Now Catarag and Ophinneb should be a little simpler.
The team is also introducing a vote to kick option to dungeon parties for inactive players. First, this will come to the Chinese version of the game, and eventually we'll follow across all other regions with the next update.
The Fractured Plane is one of the returning events, with changes of its own. It begins on October 27th and runs through November 3rd, and the changes will offer new opportunities. Countdown Chests will drop Legendary Gems. You can also get set item bonuses as blessings, with blessings overall getting strengthened, along with Legendary affixes. The chance that you'll find a blessing and challenge rooms will also be boosted.
Other returning events are Shady Stock, Conqueror, and Adventurer’s Path.
