Sapphire has unveiled its brand new Radeon RX 6750 GRE Aurora OC GPU which offers 12 GB VRAM & faster than RTX 4060 performance at $340 US.
The Aurora OC is a new addition to Sapphire's Radeon RX GPU lineup which has been adopted by the recently launched Radeon RX 6750 GRE graphics cards. The Radeon RX 6750 GRE is AMD's aim to compete with NVIDIA's RTX 4060 GPUs using its older RDNA 2 architecture but pricing them very competitively and offering higher VRAM capabilities.
This particular variant is the Sapphire Radeon RX 6750 GRE Aurora OC which comes packed with the AMD Navi 22 XT GPU with 40 compute units or 2560 stream processors, a 192-bt bus with 12 GB VRAM capacity, an 18 Gbps pin speed for the DRAM, and a TDP of 230W. The graphics card officially retails for $289 US or 2379 RMB which means the Sapphire Aurora OC costs just 5% in terms of premium (2499 RMB).
As for the design of the card, the Sapphire Radeon RX 6750 GRE Aurora OC graphics card comes with a 2.2-slot design featuring a triple-fan cooler. The design slightly resembles the newer AMD Radeon RX 7000 MBA coolers.
You are getting a high-performance heatsink with multiple heat pipes running through a large aluminum fin array block which cools the custom PCB design. The card makes use of a 10-layer PCB with premium components and is powered by an 8+6 pin plug configuration. The whole aquamarine color scheme and the fans with embedded RGB lights look great. The card measures 310x128x51mm.
Sapphire also shared a few performance figures with the graphics card being faster than the RTX 4060 from NVIDIA across several titles and even surpassing the rival by 30% in COD: MW2. The RTX 4060 retails for around 2300-2600 RMB so that's a very competitive price to performance
