After a long secret-finding drought, the Diablo 4 Secret Finding Community has discovered the Ring of Misfortune — finally finding a use for the rare Lucky Coin!
Diablo 4 Not Finding A Cow Level Discord
It has been almost 10 months since the last secret finding update, where the steps to finally unlocking the Forlorn Hovel after slaying legions of cows was discovered by the Not Finding a Cow Level Discord. Now, a secret that has puzzled them for over a year has finally been discovered — the long-theorized Wishing Well Event has not only been completed, it has been confirmed to reward the Ring of Misfortune, a Unique ring that was found in the game files early in the life of Diablo 4.
Reddit user Sowhatsthecatch posted that the long-elusive ring had been found, crediting users nova_sgx, Jimpen, Tweaked, Teire, and Raffi1337 for their contributions in solving this mystery. YouTube account Nora uploaded the following video to YouTube, outlining the steps to complete the puzzle:

This is the Ring of Misfortune, a reward for the Lucky Coin secret quest. When one of each class throws the Lucky Coin into the Wishing Well in Scosglen, this is the result. The Well-Wisher title and the Ring of Misfortune.
The Lucky Coin was looted (thanks to Discord user Jimpen) by using a Greed Shrine and looting the corpse of the soldier who gets his face smashed in (mini event). The exact method we're still a little shaky on but the Greed Shrine seems to be a prerequisite.
