Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new patch for Diablo 4, arriving on August 29th, which will deal with various abilities that regular enemies and Elites that apply crowd control. First, Cold Enchanted Elites can no longer proc the status on each hit, and Chilling Wind spawns fewer overlapping walls.
The Cold Goatman Ice Pillars also have a longer cooldown. Other noteworthy changes include Fire Enhanced monsters dealing 20 percent less damage and releasing one less explosion wave on death. The Bloated Corpsefiend’s charge also deals 14 percent less damage.
Item affixes now sort more consistently, and the Codex of Power now remembers previous filters for Seasonal and My Class settings. It should also feel “more natural” to navigate Glyph Upgrades using a controller. Challenges, Trophies and Achievements with similar unlock requirements will carry over between platforms.
Check out the rest of the patch notes below. Diablo 4: Season of the Malignant is ongoing with Season of Blood, where players battle against vampires, arriving on October 17th. Stay tuned for more details, and check out our review for the base game.
