Street Fighter 6‘s second DLC character, A.K.I., will be added to the game next month.
A.K.I. will be unlocked on September 27 for players who own the Year 1 Character Pass.
Capcom said players will be able to try out A.K.I. for one hour with a Rental Fighter ticket, which can be obtained via the in-game Fighting Pass.

Like all other DLC characters, A.K.I. will feature in all three Street Fighter 6 modes – World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub.
“Feeding off orders from her master, she injects poison into enemies that dare stand within striking distance – all with a smile,” according to Capcom.
“A.K.I. draws much of her poisonous personality and inspiration from her master F.A.N.G, who was first introduced in Street Fighter V.
“In the single player World Tour mode, players can learn more about A.K.I.’s interest in the evil Shadaloo organisation and help her find her herbal medicine in Tian Hong Yuan, a new location for players to meet their newest Master and apply her deadly moves to their custom avatar.”
The Year 1 Character Pass, which is included with the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Street Fighter 6, costs $29.99 / £26.99 standalone.
Following July’s release of Street Fighter 6‘s first DLC character, Rashid, A.K.I. will become the game’s 20th playable fighter. She’ll be followed by Ed in early winter 2024 and Akuma next spring.
Street Fighter 6 was released in June and attracted one million players in its first three days, according to Capcom, which is targeting 10 million lifetime sales for the game.
