The Barbarian class comes to the Beta as the ultimate physical fighter, slaying hordes of enemies up close with ridiculous strength backed up by multiple builds that use different stats, skills, and abilities to crush foes with overwhelming force. Players can build the perfect Barbarian up until Level 25 during the Beta, giving them 26 Skill Points to spend in the various Skill Trees intrinsic to the class. With a variety of weapons and gear only increasing the bulk and damage output of the player, certain strategies for the Barbarian class make it an unstoppable force that will never be met with an object they couldn't move.

Skills are divided into different sections that unlock as players level up, earning Skill Points in by completing various side quests, clearing dungeons, or simply defeating enough enemies. These sections are called Basic Skills, Fury Skills, Defensive Skills, Brawling Skills, Weapon Mastery Skills, Ultimate Skills, and Key Passives for the Barbarian. Players are essentially given no limit on where they can spend Skill Points, unlocking as many abilities as they see fit, except for one primary Ultimate Skill, Key Passive, and a couple of upgrade paths for other powers.

Barbarians have the unique capability of wielding multiple weapons through their Arsenal system, which lends them four weapons at a time to assign to any Skill. Those looking to customize their character's physical damage have many options through the rare and legendary gear found at later levels in the Beta, which might even demand players respec their Skill Points in to better pair with certain tools. The best weapons for any Barbarian either increase the character's Strength
