Arc builds in the expansion are a great way of quickly taking out large groups of enemies and dealing high damage against stronger foes. The electricity-based Light subclass has been available since the first title in the franchise and has ever since been one of the strongest in the games. This became especially true after the 3.0 rework, which enhanced many of the subclass’ capabilities and turned it into something distinguished among all the other subclasses.
Regardless of the class, be they Titan, Hunter, or Warlock, the main keyword for the 3.0 Arc rework in is agility. This became evident since the rework and has stood out among other, slower subclasses. The Arc subclass also became customizable with Aspects and Fragments, allowing players to choose their preferred playstyle. Because of said agility, Arc builds in work out quite well, especially considering how Strand, the new Darkness subclass, is also slightly based on that aspect.

The concept of the Arc subclass is moving around very quickly and dealing heavy damage in between movement instances. All Arc builds in are quite simple, mainly due to the fact that they work around one buff, two debuffs, and a pickup item.
The only possible buff players can get while playing Arc is Amplified. The buff temporarily affects the base character stats in , granting a bonus +50 Mobility. Aside from the straightforward sprinting speed, players also get improved sliding distances, jump heights, and weapon handling.
