Season 17 of Destiny 2 will begin on May 24, and with only a couple of weeks left there are some important weapons that players should craft before it starts. Every season in Destiny 2 brings more than just new content for Guardians to enjoy. There is a multitude of either new or reworked weapons that find their way into the loot pool, as well as new seasonal artifact mods for players to unlock. Although the former idea will undoubtedly make some players want to change their loadouts in the coming season, the latter's possibilities should inspire Guardians to craft very particular weapons as soon as possible.
Every seasonal artifact always includes a handful of anti-champion mods that players will need to use in endgame PvE content. For the Season of the Risen weapons in Destiny 2, this included Anti-Barrier Champion Scout and Bow mods, Anti-Overload Champion Auto Rifle and SMG mods, and Anti-Unstoppable Champion Glaive, Hand Cannon, and Pulse Rifle mods. This is quite literally most of the weapon pool, and players can probably expect to see some of the same weapon types receive another anti-champion mod in Season 17. However, it's just as likely that some other seasonal artifact mods may make a return, such as Fusion Rifle and Linear Fusion Rifle mods.

While there isn't any confirmation for what the next seasonal artifact mods will be yet, there are five weapons that players need to craft beforehand.
