Unlike the leaked Marvel’s Avengers characters She-Hulk and Captain Marvel, Patrol Mode was officially confirmed by Square Enix and announced by Crystal Dynamics. Teased alongside the Cosmic Cube Villain Sector and other major additions, the first post about this mode was made back on March 25, 2021. Over a year later, it has still not come to the game, and it is unclear if it will ever actually become a reality. Unsurprisingly, fans are venting their frustration and sharing their disappointment.

They would be free to patrol for as long as they’d like, too, ending the mission when they felt like doing so.
