The multiplayer superhero title, developed by Crystal Dynamics, has long been criticized for its microtransactions, lack of endgame content and many technical issues. Some fans believe that the end ofMarvel's Avengersis near, but bizarre glitches serve as an ongoing source of amusement for the playerbase.
Released back in September 2020, Marvel's Avengers received praise for its authentic single-player storyline and roster of distinct playable characters. The experience was marred by seemingly endless bugs and glitches, however, many of which could crash the game or render a mission unplayable. Over time Crystal Dynamics has released free updates for Marvel's Avengers, expanding the experience with new playable Avengers and new locations to explore. However, efforts to save the game and build a loyal playerbase have so far failed. Technical problems and a lack of content still plague the game, and recently Square Enix sold Crystal Dynamics to Embracer Group to make the game's future even more uncertain.

A hilarious Marvel's Avengers video, shared by Reddit user kaharakahara, sees Captain America jitter through the air while dressed as a werewolf. The video starts out with Capwolf fighting enemies during the Klaw Raid, which was added to the game in November 2021. Tasked with reaching a distant platform, the lycanthropic Avenger apparently "felt it and went for the jump" before repeatedly performing Cap's mid-air dive attack.
