According to the SteamDB website, Destiny 2 reached 316,750 concurrent players, the highest number ever registered by the game on Valve's platform. According to the website, the most recent number of concurrent players was 128,692, showing Lightfall's release really brought players together to protect the Earth from being invaded. Previously SteamDB shows that the highest number of concurrent players registered by Destiny 2 was in October 2019 when Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion was released, gathering 292,513 players.
