Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2 has kicked off with a bang, introducing special weapons and armor while also adding a brand new catalyst for Jotunn. Along with the new story in Destiny 2, fans see the return of some of the best-designed armaments from Season of Opulence. Players may stumble upon the new counterpart to everyone's favorite toaster, but those that wish to know for certain how to acquire and level up the Jotunn catalyst can go to specific locations.
For Guardians that don't know, Bungie actually has a way in-game to check where specific items drop. By going to the Triumphs tab and selecting Patterns & Catalysts, fans can search for the acquisition of enhancements for any Exotic, not just Jotunn. The desired Fusion Rifle is on the last page of the Energy Weapons section. The Jotunn catalyst can be dropped from playlist activities and can be completed on any difficulty of Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit in Destiny 2. Once earned, there is one more step for players before gaining the benefits.

After equipping the catalyst, Guardians are given the task of defeating 500 foes with Jotunn to masterwork the weapon. This can be done simply by playing the game, but a few notable locations make the objective easier. The beginning of the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon spawns many Hive enemies in the cave. The fiery explosions created by Jotunn can make quick work of these foes. Alternatively, players can travel to the Moon and complete the Altars of Sorrow, as waves of enemies spawn throughout the activity.
