The D.F.A. Hand Cannon is back in Destiny 2 with a complete perk overhaul that has made the weapon better than ever before. D.F.A. is a Kinetic Hand Cannon that had a 140 rounds per minute fire rate, making it the same type of weapon as Fatebringer. The large overhaul kept all of the perks that D.F.A. had originally, but the rework had included more than triple amount available options.

Those who are looking for a craftable Kinetic Hand Cannon in Destiny 2 should get Austringer's weapon pattern instead, though these two weapons have different perk pools as well. Despite not being a craftable weapon, D.F.A. is still worth getting because its god roll is a great option to have for PvE activities. Although it does have PvP options as well, it may not have the same utility in those types of activities.
