With more than 100 films under his belt, it’s no surprise that actor and martial artist Jackie Chan doesn’t love everything he’s appeared in. Chan has been a star across the globe, appearing in Hollywood productions as well as films produced in his native China. (He’s also a pop star there!) But, as much as he’s enjoyed and appreciated his career, there are a few films he regrets making.
Jackie Chan is best known for appearing in action and action-comedy movies. He’s made a handful of dramatic features, but most fans are used to seeing him kick butt and riff with a co-star. They’re also used to hearing that he injured himself in some way on set—he’s broken basically every bone in his body over his career. If he were expected to write off any of his movies, it might be some of the action films because of the great toll they’ve taken on him physically. However, Chan has also expressed issues with his comedic roles. In the past, he stated that his Chinese sense of humor often doesn’t mesh with the American sensibility. The things that Americans find funny are often things that he doesn’t vibe with. Listing some of Chan's comedies among his least-favorite films is equally plausible.
