Warning! Spoilers for Justice League #75 by DC Comics
The Death of the Justice League has shaken the DC Universe, and in a moment that feels right out of Avengers: Infinity War and The Infinity Gauntlet Saga, Black Adam reveals the terrible threat coming to Earth after they suffer a great defeat. In Justice League #75 by DC Comics, Black Adam crashes through the Hall of Justice, managing to say just a few words that «the Justice League… are… dead.» The moment parallels Hulk and Silver Surfer crashing through the Sanctum Santorum after their respective Marvel defeats.
In the classic Infinity Gauntlet storyline from Jim Starlin, George Perez, Ron Lim, Josef Rubinstein, Jack Morelli, Max Scheele, and Ian Laughlin from Marvel Comics, the comic opens with a bang. As Doctor Strange is doing magical research, the Silver Surfer crashes through the top of the Sanctum Santorum. Barely able to muster words together, the cosmic hero tells Strange Thanos is coming, and his arrival could spell the end of the universe. It's an epic moment that shows the immediate danger the Avengers are in. In the MCU, the moment was adapted in Avengers: Infinity War, but it swaps out Silver Surfer for the Hulk, who makes a similar warning about Thanos after witnessing him kill Loki and take down Thor with ease.
