Beginning this August, a new arc in Moon Knight will pit the Fist of Khonshu's alters against each other, causing a fight not only on the street but within his own mind. The tease for the new arc mentions all five key players: Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley.
Moon Knight was created by Don Perlin and Doug Moench, first appearing in Werewolf By Night #32 in a story called «The Stalker called Moon Knight.» He was originally the antagonist of the Werewolf but his popularity grew to the point that he started appearing in other titles before getting his own series. There have been several ongoing Moon Knight series over the years with a variety of writers and artists tackling the titular character. Previous creative teams have included Charlie Huston and David Finch, Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev, as well as Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood, among many other talented figures in the comic book industry. Recently starring in his own Disney+ show, Moon Knight is a unique character in that he has dissociative identity disorder (DID). His mental health representation is explored both in the comic and within the show, an important step forward in destigmatizing people with disorders such as DID, but not without its missteps in how the disorder has been portrayed over the years.

A teaser tweet from Marvel Entertainment hinted at the next mysterious arc in the Moon Knight series. Beginning with issue #14, there will be both a physical battle on the streets and a mental battle within Moon Knight's own mind taking place.
