As DC’s new Infinite Frontier era finds its stride, no group of heroes benefits more from it than the Justice League, which is why they should bring backJustice League: Gods and Monsters. While there are many alternate versions of the League running around DC's rebooted universe, DC should bring back one of their darkest incarnations ever.
With so many versions of the beloved characters now teaming up, developing further, and enriching the DC Universe, the League’s iconic trinity (Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman) is more saturated than ever, and they always run the risk of running into versions of themselves that challenge their powers and character. For this reason, it’s baffling that the version of the League from Justice League: Gods and Monsters haven't made an appearance.

Justice League: Gods and Monsters was a limited series by J.M. DeMatteis, Thony Silas, and Bruce Timm which followed the Justice League of a darker world. In their reality, Batman is Kirk Langstrom, whose failed cure for lymphoma gave him powers and a vampiric thirst for blood. Superman is General Zod’s son, who has become Metropolis’ lethal protector, utilizing his powers to stop crime as judge, jury, and executioner. Unfortunately, this version of Lor-Zod isn't as nice as the one raised by Superman. Wonder Woman is Bekka of New Genesis, struggling to live a normal life on Earth yet constantly on the run to maintain her secret identity. Told through Lois Lane’s eyes, the story follows the trinity as they contend with a scientist claiming to have the means to advance humanity to the next step of its evolution. The League of this unnamed Earth are all outsiders
