Nothing is true; everything is permitted. Well, as long as Mediatonic has the licensing rights—Ezio is joining Fall Guys with a brand-new cosmetic, bringing Assassin's Creed into the Total Wipeout-like battle royale frenzy.
This is just in time for Fall Guys' big unveiling to the world, launching on Xbox and Nintendo Switch on June 21. But it doesn't stop there. Fall Guys is going free-to-play, much like Knockout City which did today, meaning that anyone can pick up a copy and get stuck in, playing with their beans as they slap each other around in a frantic game of jump, duck, and weave through cartoonish obstacle courses.

But there's a catch—it's being delisted on Steam, making it an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC for the foreseeable future. You can still play it if you own a Steam copy, but you won't be able to pick it up on the platform after June 21. Regardless, Ezio will drop with the next Season Pass on that date, marking Fall Guys' transition to free-to-play.
Funnily enough, this has been teased since as far back as September 2020, with Fall Guys sharing an Assassin's Creed Brotherhood crossover fan art. Nearly two years later, it's a reality—who knows how long it's been in the works, eh?
Fall Guys' season pass is essentially a battle pass, with a premium and free version. Ezio will likely be a part of the paid season pass which retails at $8, although completing a season pass will net you enough to buy the next one when it rolls around.
