The success of Fall Guys was surprising and Mediatonic was suddenly tasked with improving the quality and adding content to the game. This might be why it took so long for the game to be ported to other systems. Fall Guys remained a PC and PlayStation exclusive for two years, despite the huge demand for the game on other systems. The game was planned to have a multiplatform release a year ago, as Fall Guys on Switch was set for 2021, but the developers faced a number of delays, and it has only just become available on other systems.
