Daily Mail unveiled new set photos of Ryan Reynolds in a hardened new Deadpool suit to go along with his long hair and a top knot look. He was spotted alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Dogpool, and a stand-in with the comic-accurate face-scarring prosthetics of Wade Wilson.
Per The Daily Mail, Reynolds is sporting his new look to portray a younger version of Wade Wilson. But we can be sure that this young Deadpool is a variant since he has very different-looking glossy armor and shinier gold weapons. The hairstyle doesn’t just differentiate him from the main variant, but it also adds flair to this stylish Deadpool variant.
Since the MCU usually tells its own stories with Marvel characters, it’s likely that Samurai-Deadpool’s story may not be the same as 2022’s ‘Deadpool: Samurai’ manga, where Wade lands in Tokyo. But, this perfect-looking Deadpool can be slightly similar to the manga version.
Whether he just gets a cameo or goes on to be one of the final big bads of the film remains to be seen. But because of his premium suit and weapons, he could be a superior Deadpool variant that Dogpool, Jackman’s Wolverine, and the OG Deadpool might have to take on in the third act.
