There are few characters more popular in comics than Batman and the Joker, and in an amazing body paint cosplay from Melissa Croft, the iconic DC Comics hero and villain merge into one. Croft shared her incredible art on her Instagram page, where she showcased a Batman who had become Joker-ized — with an incredible gold Batarang acting as the mouth, which makes them look even more terrifying.
Batman and the Joker have been duking it out in the comics for more than 80 years, as the Clown Prince of Crime first appeared inBatman #1 by Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and Jerry Robinson. The Joker has terrorized Gotham City and been the biggest challenge the Dark Knight has ever faced, as his violent actions have caused an incredible amount of problems and grief in Bruce Wayne's life. DC combined the characters to create The Batman Who Laughs, who was introduced through the Dark Multiverse. The Earth-22 villain nearly destroyed the DC Universe with his army of Dark Knights. DC Comics has recently revealed The Batwoman Who Laughs, another version of the character who used to be Batwoman.

On Her Instagram page, artist and cosplayer Melissa Croft shared her awesome take on a Joker-ized Batman. Calling the look «Golden Batman,» the body paint cosplay was inspired by Croft finding an awesome Joker-inspired Batarang and wanting to use it as part of the ensemble. The results are incredible, as the Golden Batman wears a black mask with a gold bat symbol on the chest with the Joker's «Ha Ha Ha's» throughout the suit.
