A fan of The Batman makes waves on social media after his wife reveals he's planning on missing the birth of their child to see the DC film. 2022 promises to be full of thrilling movies, and one of the biggest is set to debut in just a couple weeks. Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman is the latest movie centered on the iconic Caped Crusader. It stars Robert Pattinson as a tortured Bruce Wayne entering his second year as Gotham's vigilante. The Batman also stars Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, John Turturro, and Jeffrey Wright. It was originally slated to premiere in June 2021, but the coronavirus pandemic pushed it back. Though that came as quite a blow for fans, it has gone a long way in adding extra hype. The Batman was already eagerly anticipated from the very moment it was announced with Ben Affleck at the helm in 2014, and anticipation only rose when Reeves and Pattinson began unveiling their vision.
