Two years since the announcement of Zack Snyder's Justice League, the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse fan movement offers a SnyderVerse tool for Warner Bros. Discovery to potentially leverage. Following the long push for the Justice League Snyder Cut, its 2021 release was officially announced on May 20, 2020 during a Snyder-hosted watch party for Man of Steel. The eventual release of the film in March 2021 would soon be followed by ongoing calls for Snyder's intended Justice League sequels to be greenlit.
These calls, using the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse hashtag, have come out of a combination of the Snyder Cut's cliffhanger ending teasing the invasion of Darkseid (Ray Porter) and Snyder's general outline for Justice League 2 and Justice League 3 being made public. Additionally, interest in connected projects such as David Ayer's cut of Suicide Squad, Ben Affleck's unmade Batman film, the Deathstroke origin movie, and the Ryan Choi Atom movie have also been enveloped in the push for the return of the SnyderVerse.

With the recent Warner Bros. merger with Discovery, the calls for Snyder's story to be finished is, in itself, an asset that the studio could actually implement to its advantage. To be clear, there'd be much planning and structural logistics to actually make Snyder's Justice League sequels happen. Nonetheless, the passion from the small but loyal SnyderVerse fanbase does a great deal of marketing heavy lifting for Warner Bros. Discovery.
