Warning: SPOILERS for Ms. Marvel episode 2.
Ms. Marvel episode 2 proves that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally realizing Nick Fury's original Avengers dream. Ms. Marvel episode 2 has added further intrigue to the mystery of Kamala Khan's origin, family, and the bracelet that unlocked her powers. Additionally, it has revealed more of Damage Control's purpose in the show. Damage Control's presence in this episode in particular references Nick Fury's original Avengers plan.

Luckily, Kamala has a better handle on her powers than she did in the last episode, after a fun training montage with her friend Bruno earlier in the show. Kamala manages to save the boy, but before she can get him to safety completely, her concentration is disturbed by a vision of a woman who later turns out to be the mother of Kamala's crush, Kamran (or so it seems). Though Kamala still manages to save the boy in the end, it was a clumsier rescue than she had hoped for. Before she can catch her breath in the alleyway behind the mosque, however, Damage Control suddenly ambushes her and Kamala only manages to get away with Kamran's help.
